Italian Sausage Pasta
A Super Easy Italian Dish that Will leave Everyone Satisfied.
Your Favorite Noodle Type - 1 lb
Butter - 1 Tbs
Spices: Salt, Garlic Powder, Paprika, Pepper and Rosemary
Combine all together in a pot of boiling water. Cook for time stated on Packaging.
In a Cast Iron, Sauté in 2 Tbs Butter
Onion - 1/2 Onion Diced
Garlic - 3 cloves Minced
Jalapeno - 1 Pepper Diced
Sizzle for 5 minutes before adding spices
Salt, Pepper, Paprika and brown sugar (substitute for hotter chiles or hot sauce for spicy).
If sausage is in a casing, remove the casing before adding to the Cast Iron. Otherwise, chop the sausage to your desired sizes before adding.
Once sausage is beginning to cook (10 minutes on medium heat). Then add your sauces.
I’ve always been partial to sweeter cooking, so I add Honey and Maple Syrup to the Mix. However, if you are using pork sausage removed for the casing, I would suggest trying apple sauce as it pairs very well. Otherwise, BBQ sauce always works if you’re a fan.
If you have everything prepared, from the time you start your sauté to ending should be 25 minutes. I suggest timing your pasta with that as when the pasta is done and strained through the colander I add it into the skillet and mix in some Parmesan cheese before serving.
